"Adding Beauty To Your Landscape With Design, Installation And Maintenance And Horticultural Services"

Bloom’n Gardens 10 Step Project Management Process

  1. Project Initiation: Landscape Installation Proposal or Landscape Installation Plan is prepared and forward to the client.
  2. Client Proposal/Plan Review: Client reviews proposal/plan and upon final acceptance we will send you a comprehensive installation agreement for signature. This document includes details of all work to be performed and defines information related to warranties, payments, liabilities, etc.
  3. Project Acceptance: Client submits signed installation agreement and required project deposit to secure a date on Bloom’n Gardens work schedule. Work will not begin prior to receiving this deposit. In the case of larger projects Bloom’n Gardens Landscape may provide a progress payment schedule defining payments that will be required upon completion of specific phases of the work.
  4. Project Scheduling: Upon receipt of the project deposit we will contact you and provide a scheduled start date. Bloom’n Gardens Landscape staff strives to start all projects on the scheduled start date. However, landscape projects are often dynamic and at times at the mercy of the weather and as a result start dates may change. If we anticipate delaying the start of your project, or if we are able to start work earlier than scheduled, we will contact you in advance to coordinate the new start date.
  5. Utility Marking: To avoid damage to buried utilities Bloom’n Gardens Landscape will coordinate to have a “Locating Service” visit your site and mark all underground utilities. You do not have to be there to meet them. The “Locating Service” will mark with paint the approximated locations of major utilities. You may want to note these locations for your future reference. It is the client’s responsibility to notify Bloom’n Gardens Landscape of any unrecorded underground objects to prevent damage from digging.
  6. Pre-work Review: Bloom’n Gardens Landscape will “pre-view” the project with you. Your Project Manager and the Crew Supervisor will coordinate a site visit approximately 5-10 days before the anticipated start date to “line out” the project and choreograph the scope of the work to be completed.
  7. Staying in touch: Your Project Manager will be on site intermittently through out the project and will ensure you are kept abreast of the projects progress. If at any time you have concerns or questions and your Project Manager is not present you can contact them directly at 404-314-1474 or via e-mail at the address listed on your contract.
  8. Project “Extras”: Although Bloom’n Gardens Landscape strives to develop comprehensive statements of work, unanticipated items may become necessary for you to purchase as the project gets under way. Also it is typical, as the landscape is transformed, for our clients to identify additional enhancements they would like to include. Examples of common enhancements include additional plants and adding to hardscapes. Each “extra”, project required or client requested, will be written up as a work change order and you should immediately receive a copy on site or by mail or fax. If you don’t get a written copy of an “extra” item, noting the charges, please call the office and request a copy for your files.
  9. End of project walk through: You may request a complimentary “walk through”, if one was not suggested to you, after completion of work. This walk through provides an opportunity to ensure Bloom’n Gardens Landscape has fully met your expectations, discuss warranties and provide education on the proper care of your new landscape.
  10. Enjoy your landscape, sit back and relax!

Finally, as always, we thank you for your business. We appreciate that you have selected Bloom’n Gardens Landscape and we plan to do our best to make this an enjoyable and rewarding experience for you.
