Bloom'n Gardens Landscape began as an idea of our Owner, Kate Wright. With over 10 years experience in the Buckhead community working on and managing residential & commercial landscapes, Kate wanted to bring her experience to West Atlanta communities. We still provide services to the in-town community, but also feel that residents of Douglas, Fayette, South Fulton, Paulding, West Cobb and Carroll counties deserve the attention to detail that Bloom'n Gardens Landscape can provide.
"I truly have the best job on earth. It can sometimes feel as if I am at the Botanical Gardens everyday."
With over 10 years working directly in the heart of the Buckhead community, Kate has honed her skills in landscape contracting, design, and maintenance. Kate is a degreed Botanist earning her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maine and has completed significant post graduate level work in Plant Pathology. In addition to her core science curriculum, Kate had a passion for Art and took many classes in design, line, color, and dimension. While serving in the United States Army, Kate was stationed in El Paso, Texas and learned the importance of water conservation and Xeriscape designs. Kate uses all aspects of her education and experience to create and efficiently deliver a landscape that fits her client's lifestyle. Kate regularly publishes articles on various aspects of landscape design and maintenance in local publications and has received certification as Georgia Certified Landscape Professional, as well as, a Georgia Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Professional.
Many people ask about our logo. Kangaroos are famous for their hoppin' style and being the biggest marsupials around. We use the Kangaroo jumping over the sun as a symbol of our free spirit approach to design and maintenance. We want each client to get excited about what’s happening outdoors and to enjoy their yards often. Additionally, Mother Kangaroos and Joey stay together for many years, we, also, aim to foster a business/client relationship that will last for years to come.
